Instructions:
1. Find a local pond* where frogs have laid eggs near shore in the spring.
2. Monitor the eggs as they hatch into tadpoles and develop into frogs.
3. Visit the site every couple of days to see how they change and develop.
* Frog eggs can be brought into the classroom into an aquarium for observation, but this takes some careful planning and preparation. Removing frog eggs from ponds should only be done sparingly, as frogs are in decline in many habitats.
