This foldable teaches students about Cell Organelle shape and function.
Directions:
Print out the high resolution version of the first page (with illustrated organelles). Copy this page for each student in class (we recommend using a thicker paper for copying the activity – 65-pound to cover stock will make them more durable). Have students follow these directions:
1) Color the 7 organelles
2) Carefully cut out the 7 windows using the dotted lines as a guide. Be very carful to leave the top of each intact for folding windows closed.
3) Glue this sheet to a blank back sheet. Be careful to only glue around the edges of the cell, so the text boxes stay clean for writing.
4) Have students use their notes to name each organelle and write in their function (very small writing is necessary).
Students can keep this foldable to study their organelles when needed.
