Launched from Earth in 1997, this spacecraft was to land a probe on Titan, Saturn's largest moon, and to orbit the planet for four years for a detailed study of the entire Saturn system. In 2004, it drifted down through the hazy atmosphere of Saturn's moon Titan, beaming data back to Earth through the Cassini spacecraft.
