Antarctic Food Web

This is an Antarctic Food Web. See if you can identify all the parts of the food web that make this a functioning, healthy ecosystem. Look for:

The Producers - the phytoplankton.

The Primary Consumers – the squid, fish and krill.

The Secondary Consumers – the penguins, seals, and whales.

The Scavengers, Decomposers or Detritivores – this is less clear in this food web, but fish, krill and zooplankton all eat bits of organic matter floating in the ocean, so play more than one an important role in the Antarctic Food Web.
