Range
They breed from British Columbia east to Newfoundland and from the Canadian Rockies south to California and from eastern Minnesota to West Virginia. Winters south to U.S.-Mexico border.

Reproduction
They build an open cup nest up in the trees and lay 3-5 eggs. It takes 2 weeks for the eggs to hatch.
