Exploring Nature Educational Resource Mission Statement

Providing:
  • Resource Database targeting grades K-8 (ages 5-12) (continually updated and fully searchable) featuring:
    • Animals: their range, habitat, physical traits, habits, diet, predators, reproductive features and life span with color illustrations and diagrams for downloading. Animals are grouped by scientific classification, habitat, special traits and geographic location.
    • Biomes: description, the animals and plants found in various habitats with illustrations for downloading.
    • Adaptations:
    • Human Anatomy: The different body systems, their functions, organs and diagrams and illustrations for downloading.
    • Farm Animals:
    • Space:
    • Trees: description and illustrations and diagrams for downloading.
    • Wildflowers: description and illustrations and diagrams for downloading.
    • Science Activities for Educators to use in the classroom: lectures, lesson plans, hand outs, activities for downloading. Activities meet National Science Standards and many are inquiry-based activities.
