Exploring Nature now licenses Sheri Amsel’s artwork for one-time-use for commercial publications. With an art license, we will provide a high resolution version of the artwork for use in your project that will be sent via email or server upload (as requested).

For a "commercial publication license" the cost is: $150 (large spot art), $300 (BW 8.5x11"), $500 (color 8x11") per graphic for use in the development of printed or digital products, i.e. books, websites, games, signage, product branding, etc.

A "commerical publication license" gives the licensee unlimited use rights, so the art can be used in print, digitally and/or altered for multiple languages, as needed for the duration of the published product, including reprints and second editions (in the case of a book project). The art can be used in promotion of the product and in secondary "teacher editions" (in the case of a book project). The art cannot be altered wthout permission. The copyright citation must stay intact.

To purchase your art license:

  1. Download the licensing agreement (PDF at bottom).
  2. Print it out, fill it out and sign it.
  3. Scan it, upload it and email it to: sheri@exploringnature.org. Include a link to the art on the website that you are licensing.
  4. Or send the completetd license and your check to us via snail mail: Exploring Nature, PO Box 84, Elizabethtown, NY 12932.  Again please email a link to the art on the website that you are licensing.
  5. Now go to the Exploring Nature Store and pay for you art.

Please note that subscribing members can use artwork in their educational projects (that are not for sale) for free. For these purely educational projects, please apply for a complimentary use license, by emailing with your project description: sheri@exploringnature.org
